This is the Weakerthans’ Tour Manager, Autumn Pincus, posing rather saucily on the occasion of her 30th Birthday.

Jim Bryson during the Weakerthans’ soundcheck. Question: Why is tonight’s show sold out? Answer: Regional music fans have heard tales of Jim’s simultaneous-guitar-AND-egg shaker solos! Believe it!

Tempe, AZ: Bookmark Boys

These woefully adorable boys were at last night’s Weakerthans show in Albuquerque, then drove eight hours to Tempe today for tonight’s show. They are holding fistfuls of limited edition The Last Town Chorus bookmarks designed by talented fan Christian Funfhausen. Awww!

Leaving for Tempe/Phoenix, AZ feeling renewed after a great show at legendary venue, Launchpad, proper sleep, and a morning swim. Albuquerque had a surreal vibe to it, like an adobe-hued David Lynch film.
