Our tour bus pulled up next to a stone labrynth and will be here til tomorrow, so I dove into a Carlos Castaneda-esque day of experience. I had a hot mud bath and a mineral water bath with lavendar salts, then sat in a sauna. All that sustained heat yields subtly hallucinatory thinking and I’ve dreamed up no less than three well-formed song ideas so far. I then trotted through the stone labrynth, which I’ve long been curious to do — perhaps I’ll build one when I’m back in Brooklyn, in my courtyard, perhaps using street trash instead of stones. Maybe not.

Megan,
Hey. I was at the show last night in SF. (The Brooklyn Guy.) More amazing than the performance itself; you visited Calistoga. I live in Calistoga. (Far from Brooklyn.) If only I knew. I am a winemaker in Napa Valley. I would have had you stop at the winery. So, if you need any wine for inspiration with the new recording, drop me a line…. Enjoy the remainder of your tour and travels….
