Finally the tour has hit the coast, and I’m reminded why ‘California’ is my favorite Joni Mitchell song. Colors pop, almost like in Australia. I fell asleep on the beach at the base of a cliff as all sounds swirled into one sleep-inducing hum. For me, the ocean is my approximation of god… it’s not infinite, but it’s sure close enough. Now, for soundcheck.
