The fellas from Calexico pulled up to Hotel Congress just after we did, to shoot some kinda video. Here is their awesome old VW pickup, chock full o’ drums. Moments after this photo, rain began to fall, which probably sounded faintly sweet bouncing off the cowbell. Trains have been clattering and screeching past this old hotel all day.
