I’m coming to understand how freakishly obsessed the Canadians are with their hockey. Kathleen’s band and crew and management all suited up, strapped on ice skates, took some hits and endured uncomfortable post-game chafing in order to make the music video for “I Make the Dough, You Get the Glory.” Here’s me chillin’ (get it?!) with Tom Brown (tour manager/sound engineer) and John Dinsmore the bassist - who as it turns out, I met at one of The Last Town Chorus’ first-ever shows in 2002 or so — Knitting Factory in New York.

The tour took a detour through Canada so that Kathleen and the band could shoot a video for “I Make the Dough, You Get the Glory” at a hockey rink in Toronto. The video featured some NHL legends including Paul Coffey and Marty McSorley (who’s called out in the lyrics of the song). Click the photo for a larger version.
